The Marathon's Story gets back to its roots, and posts some interesting observations and speculations about the game of Marathon. It's fantastic to see interest reviving!

And it's reviving because of the Marathon: Open Source effort, which today sees a new version of Aleph One (mostly small bug-fixes), and some progress towards in-game music (if this pans out, we could see some serious work from scenario maker extraordinaire Hamish Sanderson... cross your fingers!).
